4.0 Quick Installation

This section has been included for those of you who are too impatient to read
the detail documentation.
The basic steps that you follow to install the project are as follows:
- Have a web server setup to handle PHP4.
- Download a distibution from the project site.
- Unarchive the distribution file.
- Create a virtual directory with your webserver that points to the
directory created from unarchiving.
- Run the install script to create required directories. The script also
sets appropriate permissions
- Point you browser to the index.php file located in the newly
created directory.
- From the Administration Interface, create a Source by providing
connection
information for the server. You will need to contact your MLS to complete
this step.
- From the Administration Interface, create a Target choosing on
of the supported formats of the package.
- From the Administration Interface, create an Extract choosing
a Source and a Target.
- From the main page, execute a download, specifying the Extract
to use.
